Back when this site was new and we only had one child, we used to add small batches of photos pretty regularly. These days, we tend to add large batches of photos very infrequently.

To better accommodate this change, we've modified the default sort order in our photo albums. In the past, photos were sorted in descending order: the most recent pictures were displayed on the first page, and the least recent pictures were displayed on the last page. This made it easy to see new pictures, because they were always right in your face.

Now, however, that behavior works less well, because when an entire month's photo album is added all at once you need to go to the last page and work your way backward in order to view the pictures in sequence. How annoying.

So, starting today, photo albums are sorted in ascending order, so that you can see the pictures from the begging of the month first, and work your way from there. Enjoy!
